Young Hollywood

Sarah Bernhardt (1844-1923)

Lillian Gish (1893-1993)

Constance Talmadge (1897-1973)

My head is filled with silent film stars from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. I was completely oblivious to this glamorous world until I decided to write my Art paper on one of Napoleon Sarony's photographs of Sarah Bernhardt. These are three of the most beautiful, bewitching women I have ever seen. They make me want to wear lace and pearls and frizz my curls out.

Lovely!

I also love Mary-Kate's blue velvet jacket.

I totally agree with you about Nylon. I'm actually writing them a letter about my love for their older issues. It just isn't as intriguing or artistically inspiring.
